Practical Applications for Universal Simulator

Instead of building complicated simulators that are used during training classes and then returned to Horner – these trainers are designed for the customer to utilize for application development & training needs. Also perfect for System Integrators, OEMS, and prototyping machines.

Simulator Includes:
• 8 digital input slide switches
• 8 digital output LEDs
• 2 rotary potentiometers for analog input testing
• 1 rotary encoder high speed input
• 1 RTD input port
• Test point loop connections for digital panel meter to test analog outputs
• 2 connection ports and associated cables for I/O connections to the OCS
• Wiring diagrams for X Series, XL models and generic
• Power Supply

We Envision Three Main Use Cases:
• Hardware available for general sale on our web site for any general automation use looking for an I/O Simulator
• Hardware included as part of the Tuition expense when signing up for Horner Virtual Training
• Hardware available as part of an Academic Kit sold to colleges – to be sold to control engineering students (talk to your Horner Sales Rep about our Academic Program)

The Universal Simulator is compatible with all Horner Automation controllers. It will be sold in kit form – minimizing labor cost.
